Today marks the 16th birthday of the grand opening of Pete Dye’s course at the French Lick Resort. Known as one of the best courses in the US, this midwestern jewel has hosted multiple Senior PGA Championships, is the current host of the Korn Ferry Tour’s season-ending championship, and will host our Society’s annual match play event next month!

Pete Dye famously worked the routing for the course atop the massive hills above the French Lick Resort & Casino with designs written on a napkin in a local restaurant!

Click the link below for a great read on the making of what Pete called ‘arguably the best inland site’ for one of his courses!
