Golfweek published their annual rankings on Top 50 casino courses recently, and Pete Dye had 3 courses ranked in the Top 50! In order for courses to be ranked, they needed to be operated by resorts which also operate gaming casinos–of which Pete’s courses at the French Lick Resort and Nemacolin qualify.
Leading the way was the French Lick Resort (Pete Dye Course) coming in at #3 in the country (up from #4 in 2023). Pete’s namesake course in French Lick, IN is a Top 100 course in the country, and just finished hosting the Korn Ferry Tour Championships in October. It has hosted many other prestigious tournaments including the Senior PGA and LPGA Championships, and will host the a Pete Dye Society tournament in May 2025.

Also making the Top 50 are Pete’s two courses at the resort at Nemacolin in Farmington, PA. Mystic Rock golf course came in at #12 in the country (down from #11), and Shepherd’s Rock golf course moved up a spot to #29 in the country. Both courses rank as top golf courses in Pennsylvania, and are must-play courses for guests staying at Nemacolin.
