On this date 9 years ago, Pete Dye was given the Golf Course Builders Association of America’s prestigious ‘Don A. Rossi Award’, which recognizes exceptional individuals “who have made significant contributions to the game of golf and its growth and who have inspired others by example”.

Past winners of the Rossi Award is a literal “who’s who” of great modern golf course designers and architects!
