The Big 10 Conference announced that Pete Dye’s Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, MD will host the Big 10 Women’s Golf Championship in 2024 and 2025.

Consistently ranked as Maryland’s top public golf course since opening in 1998, Bulle Rock has hosted multiple LPGA Championships, including a memorable tournament in 2005 when Annika Sorenstam defeated amateur Michele Wie by three shots.

Built between the Susquehanna River and Chesapeake Bay, the course is named for the first thoroughbred horse ever brought to the US from England in the 18th century, where it lived at Blenheim Stud Farm (which was later sold for the golf course).

Bulle Rock is rated as one of the most difficult golf courses in Maryland. With a monstrous 483-yard (uphill) par four 5th hole and a 665-yard par five 11th hole (where the fairway bottlenecks to a green protected by twenty bunkers), Bulle Rock will surely test these collegiate amateurs.

This year’s tournament will start on Friday, April 19th through Sunday, April 21st, with parking and admission being free!
