The Towne Post just published a wonderful historical look at Dye’s Walk Country Club. As Pete and Alice Dye’s very first golf design, it holds a special place in golf history–as their 9-hole design kicked off a highly impactful course design career that has changed how modern golf architecture is executed. Previously known as the El Dorado Country Club, their original 9 hole design now serves as the back 9 at Dye’s Walk.
