Golfbreaks by by PGA TOUR released a list of their Top 16 US Golf Resorts, and four of them highlight Pete Dye courses.

At the top of the list is Kiawah Island Resort, where Pete’s Ocean Course is the gem golf experience at the resort. The Ocean Course has hosted a Ryder Cup and two PGA Championships.

At #2 is La Quinta Resort & Spa and PGA West, where Pete Dye has four outstanding courses. Whereas Pete Dye’s Stadium Course at La Quinta gets most of the press, his Mountain Course, Dunes Course and his course at the Citrus Club at La Quinta Resort are also top notch Pete Dye designs.

At #4 is the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort in Ponte Vedra, FL, where TPC Sawgrass – Stadium Course and Dye’s Valley are the main draw.

And coming in at #12 is the Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort, which features the Pete Dye Resort Course. Just down the road is also Pete’s Mission Hills North Course.
